Grilled Squid Rings with Soy-Lemon Glaze

Ingredients:

  • 500g squid rings, thawed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • oil or cooking spray for grilling

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the squid rings and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, and pepper.
  3. Marinate the squid rings in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat grill to high heat. Grease the grates with oil or cooking spray.
  5. Grill the squid rings on a hot grill for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  6. Brush the glaze on the squid rings while grilling.
  7. Serve the grilled squid rings with the remaining glaze on top.
